Mind matters - An exploration of the human mind
Exploration
The term exploration is used to indicate an intense search of the mind, its functions, its impact, and other facets.
Why Explore ?
Why not ? In current times, with the advent of the Internet and social media, the availability and accessibility of information are increasing worldwide.
The mind is the only tool we use to process the vast amount of information to which we are regularly exposed. The impact that this vast pool of information has on the mind has a direct relationship with the quality of life we lead. The impact of this vast ocean of information on the human mind is rarely openly discussed.
Who should explore?
Over the course of many inventions, it has been proven that the usage of the invention comes first, and the impact of the inventions takes a back seat. The internet and social media inventions (if we can take the liberty to call them as such !) is no different. We are not even talking about the new beast, Artificial Intelligence !
With digital media usage over the internet set to shoot up further, Without understanding the cause and effect relationship between
- The information that we are exposed to
- The impact it has on the mind
It will be a unnecessarily challenging for the social media users to navigate the new digital way of life and the experiences it brings.
Therefore, each person exploring the relationship between information and its impact on the mind is more of a necessity. As technology usage increases, its impacts (good, bad, ugly, and unspeakable) are seen, felt, and experienced by many.
Ideally everyone exposed to the internet and social media should explore !
This exploration is the responsibility of each individual user and not of any scientific, medical, government, or third-party group/corporation.
Effects of exploration or lack of it
All of a sudden, people were led to try out new forms of food, and over time, more and more new forms of food were introduced and people started consuming them. Over time, a few symptoms developed that were not previously observed.
To my way of thinking this Blogger is going to be very interesting. I will follow it from Spain! Thank you!
