HAPPY MIND TO JOYFUL LIVING - MIND AND RELATIONSHIP WITH IT - What is mine is not me
In the previous blogs we looked at what we mean by exploration of the mind and what mind is.? Also we looked mind and its functions.
The mind plays a very key role not only with in the body but also in our life. In the journey of life certain relationships we are born with like the parents sibling's, certain we take on a few (life partner, friends, mentors) and a few others we create (children's of course).
More than any other relationship, there are two entities which remain with us always till the end, one is the body and the other mind. A few choose to look at what kind of relationship should I have with the two entities that are with us always.
What type of relation to maintain with the mind ?
Its personal
In today's age people prefer shooting themselves in the foot rather than letting the other person do it, mind you in both cases the pain is the same, the only saving grace here is people proudly claim "I did it myself". This attitude reflects an deep urge in most people to act and do things independently.
Any suggestion on what type of relationship to maintain with their mind by a few words in a blog is not apt for the times we live in. So then again the question arises why so many words ?.
What are we looking for then?
We can safely conclude most people are seeking a pleasant living, both within themselves and in the outer world. Lets explore a bit what is meant when we use the words pleasant living.
Every individual on a day today basis faces many situations ranging from the trivial to the most complex, irrespective of the situation, the expectation on the individual is to handle the situation competently accompanied by an overflowing joyful effervescence.
Either to become competent or a joyful effervescence or both, the only tool we have at our disposal is our mind. How we maintain the relationship with the mind matters a lot.
From suggestion to exploration and discovery
Maintaining flexibility- Its mine but not ME.
